My primary interest lies in the field of government digital transformation, field where I work as consultant.
I have a master degree in Data Science, a research master degree in Information and Knowledge Society, and a bachelor degree in Computer Science, having also diplomas in Law & IT, and Management Information Systems.
I am currently serving at the Board of Governors of the IEEE Computer Society, the IEEE Artificial Intelligence Standards Committee and the IEEE-USA Artificial Intelligence Policy Committee. I am senior member of the IEEE, and member of other professional and scientific associations such as the Association for Computing Machinery, the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society or the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology.
I have also tried to keep connected with the academia, bridging practice and theory. I currently combine my consultancy work, teaching within university programs in Data Science and Digital Government. I am member of different academic committees, I have done research, participated in teaching activities, delivered keynotes and presented in international conferences.
